QUICK NOTES …
Respect is an important part of martial arts training, but it is so much more. It is an integral facet to building both character and success. Individuals who have a healthy understanding of this concept are more likely to excel in interpersonal skills and communicate better than contemporaries who lack this foundation.
Students involved in martial arts are required to build and demonstrate both external respect towards other students and instructors, as well as, develop self-respect. Both are important in creating positive character traits and resiliency. Individuals who understand this are more likely to uplift others and avoid situations that could compromise their integrity or safety.
Are you interesting in learning how the things we say impact the things we do and what seven simple words of respect can do to help your child (or you) grow in new and amazing ways?
